Geni POS Terms of Use

Geni POS is a cloud-based business billing and compliance software. The Service enables users to manage:

• ✓ GST-Compliant Billing and Invoice Generation
• ✓ Party Management (Customers/Suppliers)
• ✓ Sales and Purchase Reports
• ✓ Tax and HSN/SAC Code Configuration
• ✓ Payment Collection (UPI/QR Integration)
• ✓ Ledger and Payment Tracking
• ✓ Inventory Linkage (when integrated)
• ✓ User Management and Access Roles

The Services may be accessed via our web platform at https://pos.wegeni.com, or via software, mobile, or API-based extensions we provide.

You may access the Geni POS platform by creating a secure account as an individual or through a business plan. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and any activity under your account.

Access to certain modules may require a paid subscription and is subject to identity verification by WeGeni.

By using Geni POS, you agree not to:

• ✗ Use the platform for any unlawful or fraudulent activities
• ✗ Reproduce, resell, or exploit the platform without written authorization
• ✗ Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code
• ✗ Bypass access controls or attempt unauthorized data access
• ✗ Store or transmit unauthorized sensitive data such as card details, passwords, or Aadhaar data

You are responsible for ensuring your account configurations, tax data, and business entries comply with Indian laws.

WeGeni Ownership: All rights, title, and interest in the Geni POS software, design, interface, features, and codebase belong to WeGeni IT Services and Consulting (OPC) Private Limited.

Your Data Ownership: You retain ownership of your business-specific data (such as bills, party lists, and sales records), but grant us a license to securely store and process this data to deliver Services.

You may not remove or obscure proprietary notices or platform branding.

Each Geni POS subscription is valid for use by a single business entity unless specified otherwise in your plan.

You may not:

• ✗ White-label or resell the platform without written permission
• ✗ Use the platform for multiple businesses under one account unless authorized
• ✗ Share dashboards or system-generated data externally without controls

Device and user access limits may be enforced per subscription.

Depending on your plan, limits may apply to the number of configurations and the requirements of the features.

WeGeni reserves the right to throttle or suspend access if limits are consistently exceeded or fair usage is violated.

While we adopt standard security practices (including encryption, HTTPS, and access controls), you are responsible for:

• • Protecting Login Credentials
• • Assigning User Permissions
• • Reviewing Activity Logs

Important: We are not responsible for unauthorized access due to misconfiguration or third-party connections initiated by you.

You may not use Geni POS to:

• ✗ Send misleading or phishing invoices
• ✗ Collect unauthorized payment credentials
• ✗ Misrepresent your business identity

Violations may result in immediate account suspension and legal reporting.

Free Trial: A free trial (typically 7 days) may be provided with limited features.

Billing: Subscriptions are billed in advance via supported payment methods.

No Refunds: No refunds are provided for early cancellation, partial use, or unused time unless required by Indian law.

Pricing Changes: WeGeni may revise pricing with prior notice.

Payment Processing: We use Razorpay, a PCI DSS-compliant payment gateway, for secure transactions. Cardholder data is not stored by us, and all payments are encrypted and processed through Razorpay.

Geni POS may offer custom fields, tax formats, or API-based integrations based on your plan or custom agreement. These may incur additional costs and terms, documented in a service-level agreement (SLA).

We may modify these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted at https://pos.wegeni.com, and you may be notified via email or in-app.

Continued usage after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

We may terminate or suspend your account for:

• ✗ Breach of Terms
• ✗ Legal non-compliance
• ✗ Payment failure
• ✗ Compromising platform integrity

Upon termination, your access is revoked. Data may be retained or deleted as per our Privacy Policy.

The Geni POS platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

WeGeni is not liable for:

• ✗ Data loss or corruption
• ✗ Downtime from external vendors
• ✗ Business loss due to misconfiguration
• ✗ Service interruptions

Our maximum liability is limited to the amount paid by you in the last 6 months.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Namakkal District, Tamil Nadu.
